A happy donation (Photo by Jane Barlow)

When I started this project it was from nothing. Sitting on pavements begging for poems for the people of Haiti. I thought I’d make millions for them. I didn’t.  It didn’t matter. The inspiration that you shared in your poems was worth a billion tones of gold.

I’m very happy travelling the world and telling the story of the 1000+ poems that have been donated so far. This is my way of donating. Its the best I can do. If you want a poemcatcher presentation in your neighbourhood. please mail me. I’d love to.

VIDEO: This was the original invitation to people passing on the streets. Each day the “word for the day” changes. This evolves the project in real-time and ensures freshness of poems
